| This weeks theme is dun da dun!:
Tucker from Disney's "Murder She Purred"! (He's the Pembroke Welsh Corgi at the bottom). I highly recommend this movie, it's a murder mystery, where even the cat (Mrs. Murphy) and the dog (Tucker) get involved. Believe me it's not scary, it's not gruesome, it seriously is an awesome movie. Yeah it's a little old (1998) but that doesn't mean it's bad or boring. Tucker is always thinking about food, at one part, he dreamed he jumped on a tall wall (which is an accomplishment for a corgi, for those who don't know, corgis are short legged dogs with long bodies, Pembrokes Welsh Corgis also don't have tails, although their cousins the Cardigan Welsh Corgis do), and he reaches a juicy turkey at the top. Careful though, he doesn't exactly like it when you call him short x3 I couldn't find a picture of Tucker by himself, sorry x3
| Music!
10/15/05
I got new music running, the Brother Bear song was getting me annoyed, the new song is a DDR Remix of Lion king, "He lives in You". I also added 2 new quizzes to the bottom of my xanga, I had to take the quiz twice because there was more then one possible answer I could choose x3 I'm Simba and Kiara =3 The new theme comes tomorrow!
(If you don't hear music please leave a comment so I can fix it, you really need to here it^^)
UPDATE: I just got awesome news, Brother Bear II is coming up summer of 2006. It sucks though because no one ever takes up as much time in sequel movies as they do in the first ones, so unfortunetly Kenai, and the other charcters will probably look different. Plot goes as: The feature's storyline will center on Kenai (who, you may recall, has been transformed into a brown bear) as he travels the picturesque Pacific Northwest at the end of the Ice Age. During his adventures, he remains haunted by dreams of his previous life. As a human child, he befriended Nita, the daughter of a tribal elder. The pair's past friendship collides with the present as Kenai and Nita embark on a journey as bear and woman. Rutt and Tuke are also back for this adventure.

| Hope you all liked last weeks boring info theme x3 This week it's a little more interesting though, this weeks theme is Kamunyak and her adopted Oryx^^ I'm starting this weeks theme a little early....
The story of this lioness is amazing. She was not part of a pride, and found a little oryx and adopted it, but the lioness could not feed the oryx, and the oryx was not old enough to digest real food, it still needed milk from it's mother. Kamunyak also could not go out to hunt, because she did not want to leave the oryx alone. Lions are supposed to eat at least every 4 days, in the end they both went 16 days without eating. On that 16th day, Kamunyak laid down to rest and let the oryx wander a little farther then she usually let the oryx go, but they had a stalker, a male lion had been watching them, and when the oryx got far enough the lion ambushed the oryx. Kamunyak tried to get the oryx back, but did not have energy, and lionessess are no match for a full grown adult lion. Over time Kamunyak adopted 5 more oryx, but none lasted as long as the first, 1 died of starvation, 3 others ran away, the last one she abandoned and it left to go find it's oryx herd. Then soon after time Kamunyak dissapeared as well, she is still alive, but she didn't have a tracking device and no one could find her, hopefully though, she went and joinded a pride, and had cubs of her own. To catch the entire story watch "Heart of A Lioness" on Animal Planet.

| This weeks theme is......
POLAR BEARS
Yes
this weeks theme is the cuddly Polar Bear. Polar bears bodies are
completely built for swimming. Their heads are small and cut through
water like the bow of a ship. In
the picture to the right it shows their triangular body shape.
Polar bears front feet are webbed for paddling in the water as
well. Polar bears fur is actually not white, it is see through,
transparent. The hair reflects light, making the bear look white. As
everyone knows polars eat seals, fish, and other animals, what you
didn't know is that they eat seaweed and plants too. They actually eat
almost as much seaweed as they do fish. Polar bears
skin is black, which makes it unusual that you can't tell. These bears
can swim up to 60 miles without resting, at an average speed of 6 mph.
They may be cute, but polar bears are EXTREMELY powerful and /can/ be
dangerous. But don't worry, within the last 100 years only 9 people
have been killed by polar bears, within the last 10 years 200 people
have been killed by their dogs. So keep a sharp eye on Fido xD
Bored you there huh x)? But how can you resist that face?
| Don't read the following if you do not plan to read it all, if you are going to read this story, you might as well read it all the way through, if you feel like you don't have time, or don't care to read it all, if your just going to scan through it, DON'T.
You know what I think is amazing? Coincidences. This morning I was watching Discovery Channel, I usually watch Animal Planet, but I don't exactly like Planet's Funniest Animals o.O to me, it's not exactly "funny", it bores me, I don't know why. But a while ago on Discovery I had watched Anatomy of a Shark Bite. They created an authentic shark to replay what happened in a shark attack to a man. Well, this morning I watched Anatomy of a BEAR bite. Bears being my favorite animals, I especially wanted to see this. But anyway, it was a man, a man, named Timothy Treadwell, who spent 13 years, up and close to these awesome animals, not once hurt by any of them. He created recorded diaries from what he did. He even gave the bears names. He could be sitting 3 feet in front of a bear, and the bear would not mind. That shows you the incredible tolerance of these animals. And one night, before being picked up to go home, at his campsite, a bear appears (the pilot who was going to pick both Tim and his girlfriend (who was also his partner) from the campsite said he saw 2 bears over the dead human remains, he was looking for both of them and saw this). The bear(s) had killed both Tim and his girlfriend, partially devouring them. In the morning, the park ranger shoots 2 male bears near the campsite. Now what's stupid here, is that he wasn't even sure those were the 2 bears that killed Tim. I can just imagine Timothy's angel pleading the park ranger not to shoot the bear, and then he goes and shoots 2. It is sad, but it just shows you the incredible power of bears. Later today I went to the theater with my grandma, to watch Flightplan. After the movie I see a movie ad. You know what it was called? GRIZZLY MAN, subtitled: "He spent 13 years up close with them". I had JUST seen his story this morning, and now, I see a movie made for him. I think that's cool. Tim died October 2003. Nearly 2 years ago. I think they started making that movie shortly after his death, it takes abot 2 years to make a movie. I don't know why, but those kind of things amaze me, the way coincidences work out, and then it makes you wonder, if it really was a coincidence. You can make sure, I will be the first in line to see Grizzly Man.
Not the same poster I saw, this one does not have the subtitles. Go to: http://www.katmaibears.com/grizzlyattack.htm it tells you more of the story of Timothy Treadwell. The poster above shows a bear in the eye of Timothy Treadwell, I can tell because he's always wearing a bandana, and his sunglasses.
UPDATE: I have found a picture of the poster I DID see at the theaters I'm sorry it is a little small.
